At the end of August 2018, I left North America with only a few of my worldly belongings jammed into a 40L Tortuga Backpack. Leaving New York City, I traveled with Leah, Les, Yosie, and our beloved Kate.
At the time, the travel itinerary for the next month or two was somewhat organized. For a variety of reasons, the path ahead for me over the next six months was very unclear.
We arrived in the Dominican Republic on 1 September 2018, staying in an AirBnB to the North-East of Samana. The town nearest to us was Las Galeras and you can see below where my Camera captured photos on our stops and trips nearby.
